Privacy choices

Analytics is on. You haven't made a choice, and your region doesn't require one first.

Whatever you choose, we count each play anonymously: just which film was played and the date. No cookie, account, IP address, or browser details are kept, so a count can't be linked to you. These totals are the view counts shown on each film.

Analytics logs plays in detail: when one starts, how far it gets, and how long is watched. It's recorded under your account when you're signed in, or under this browser's fylmtv_vid cookie when you aren't, never both. JW Player, our video host, also gets that ID with the video stream.

Logged plays are deleted automatically once they're 360 days old. Rejecting stops the log and the ID sent to JW Player, and removes the visitor cookie; the anonymous totals carry on. You can change your mind at any time.

With analytics allowed, the player also remembers your place in this browser, separately for each account or visitor. Positions older than 30 days aren't used, and saved positions don't sync between devices. Deleting your viewing history also clears this account's saved positions in this browser.

If you like or dislike a film, that's recorded under your account whatever you choose here, and you can take it back on the film's page while the film is available. Creators and admins see only how many likes and dislikes a film has, never who gave them.

If you review films for Fylm TV, how long you watch each one on its review page is recorded under your reviewer profile whatever you choose here, so admins can see it with your rating. It's part of the review work, not analytics, and isn't sent to JW Player.

Deletes every play we counted under this browser's visitor ID, clears saved playback positions for visitors in this browser, and removes the cookie. If analytics is still allowed, the browser gets a new ID with no connection to the old one. Plays recorded while you were signed in belong to your account and aren't affected: download or delete those from your account. JW Player, our video host, keeps its own records of any ID it received with the video stream, and this doesn't reach those.
